He was recognized in the Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs category, marking the fifth year running that he has been recognized by his peers in the legal community. Mr. Cain has won tens of millions of dollars in his legal career, including a $14 million verdict for a victim of fraternity hazing. This verdict remains the largest verdict ever won for a hazing victim.
Since beginning his law practice in 2000, Stephen has devoted his career to the practice of civil litigation for plaintiffs, winning notable results in cases involving medical malpractice, defective products, automobile accidents, and other complex forms of negligence. He has also devoted a great deal of his time to serving the legal community through his involvement in state and national legal organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Florida Justice Association, sacrificing much of his time to lobby elected officials on behalf of the rights of plaintiffs.
His advocacy extends beyond the courtroom, influencing his legislative work as well as his generous volunteer efforts during natural disasters.
