The law firm of Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.C. is proud to announce that our very own Gary Fox was chosen to co-lead a seminar entitled “Learn from the Legends” by the Florida Justice Association. The seminar is for Florida plaintiffs’ attorneys who want to learn from the legends of personal injury practice. Mr. Fox will be leading the seminar along with Bob Spohrer and Steve Yerrid.
Why His Colleagues Consider Gary Fox a “Living Legend”
Gary Fox earned his law degree in 1976 and has since exemplified the very best of what it means to fight for plaintiffs. For more than 40 years, Mr. Fox has devoted his practice to civil cases involving medical malpractice, product liability, and wrongful death. In short, he has guided hundreds of people through the toughest periods of their lives, helping them get justice and compensation.
Entire generations of Florida residents have lived better, safer lives because Gary Fox is good at what he does. He has personally obtained more than 100 verdicts and settlements worth $1,000,000 or more—a feat that few law firms can claim, much less individual lawyers.
He is also a member of the legal profession’s most exclusive cohorts, including:
- The Inner Circle of Advocates: An invitation-only 100-member group of trial lawyers from around the country
- The American Board of Trial Advocates: An invitation-only group evenly comprised of plaintiff and corporate defense lawyers
- The Lawdragon Hall of Fame: a list of legendary lawyers which only includes 52 litigants
- The International Society of Barristers: an invitation-only group of 600 leading lawyers worldwide
For Gary, passing along his knowledge to younger attorneys is a partial fulfillment of his mission to build a safer, fairer Florida.
About the Florida Justice Association
Formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Florida Justice Association (FJA) is an organization committed to bolstering Florida’s civil justice system and making it easier for citizens and consumers to hold businesses accountable for negligent practices. The organization came together after WWII initially to represent the interests of injured citizens in the legislative and judicial arenas. Today, they fight for the rights of consumers and injured people alike against well-funded business interests.
The FJA continues its mission by helping equip trial attorneys throughout Florida with the best practices, techniques, and strategies available to them. Seminars like Mr. Fox’s provide attorneys with rare access to the mind and playbook of a true titan of the courtroom.
